Should I go to San Jose State University or San Diego State?
Asked by Aditya GI am in a dilema I have been working in a hotel in San Jose for 2 years and have been going to community college to transfer to a 4 year for hotel managmenet degree. I just got a promotion to a Front Desk Supervisor and the next step up is the Assistant Manaer position. So should I stay here and go to SJSU and be able to pay for my school through work and get experience as well or should I go to SDSU maybe take a loan for school since i wont have a job(atleast not one that pays $20 an hour).

I am from the Bay Area, here you go since you have a steady and what you consider a good paying job than you should consider SJSU. The only thing that should make you go to San Diego is if what you would like to pursue is available at there campus vs. SJSU. If what you want to pursue is available at SJSU than stay if not go and finish up you schooling where you will be able to acquire your degree. You will not have to go through the hassle of adapting to new personality's and will feel more at home and yourself in the Bay Area. Your decision should be based on wether or not you will be able to acquire the degree you want if or if not it is available in regards to what is closest to you. If you can get the degree at SJSU than Im sure no one in San Diego would move to SJ for that degree if they could get in SD and have a nice job that is close by. Peace PS> #1 answer
