is university of hawaii at manoa a good college?

There are a good number of strong programs such as music and psychology. Here's the freshman admissions page: www.uhm.hawaii.edu/admissions/undergrad/apply/freshman.html UH (as we students just call it), is located in Manoa Valley, so invest in an umbrella and light jacket as it does rain. The campus is smaller than mainland campuses, with plenty of resources for students to succeed. For freshmen there are First Year Programs, designed to help first year students get accustomed to college life.
