UH Hilo is on the Big Island, while the remainder of the schools you listed are on Oahu. University of Hawaii does not offer a Criminal Justice/Criminology program. The two main schools that do are Hawaii Pacific University and Chaminade University. I graduated with a BA in Justice Administration from HPU and also obtained my MS in Criminal Justice Administration from Chaminade. Both schools have good programs, where the student to teacher ratio is perfect. The other thing I liked was that most of the professors are adjunct, meaning they are full-time professionals and only teach one class a quarter. Therefore, they have a lot of practical experience in the field they are teaching. For example, at HPU, one of my professor's was a homicide detective and another professor was the warden at a local prison.
