Can I get into University of Illinois at urbana champaign ( U of I)?
Asked by kamalb90I am currently ranked 4 out of 634 in my graduating class. I have taken all AP or honors classed with a gpa of 3.9 out of 4. My act score is 31. I am looking to get admission to the civil engineering program in U of I. What are my chances?

If you are a minority, you are a shoo in. If you are not you are pretty much still in. Expect scholarship money as well. Try other options as well. My friend was accepted into Brown (Ivy League) with a little less than what you have to offer. She was stacked in the extra curricular activities department. If you have a decent amount and leadership positions I would try some schools like, Brown, Penn, Dartmouth, and take a shot at Yale or Harvard. But U of I is a great school in the middle west. One of the elite in the nation in regards to Engineering. Good Luck!!!
