How good is the University of Phoenix?
Asked by Bridget CI am looking at a dual degree, MBA and MSN. Do prospective employers take you seriously w/ a degree from the University of Phoenix?

Missy got her her MBA through UOP and I finished my undergrad in business there. While it's been beneficial for me, I haven't changed employer. But I know that there is a bias here and we'll see what happens when I switch jobs. I think Missy will tell you she got what she needed to help her as a business owner, but before then when she was job shopping, I think it hurt her. Of course the job market sucked at the time, so who knows what factors employers were looking at. If I had to do it again, I'd go to PSU.
