Sat scores, gpa, and things of that sort?

Asked by tiah
So i am a high school senior and stuck on a decision. I am in the IB Program which is a rigorous internationally recognized program that prepare students for college .My Gpa is 3.5 but my sat score is a 1270. I want to apply for either Valdosta State University or Columbus State University but my sat scores are a little under of what they want. Should i apply because of my GPA and the courses i am taking or should i take the Sat again and apply then?

Retake the SATs. I don't know the statistics of the admitted students at those colleges but you might need to increase your SATs. The rigor of your class schedule might also help in determining your status for admissions. Don't forget have a strong admission's essay that sets you apart from the rest of the applicants.
