More than 90 percent of freshmen receive financial aid. Aid awarded includes scholarships, grants, low-interest loans, and student employment. The State of Wisconsin subsidizes dental students who are Wisconsin state residents. Out-of-state dental tuition is $39,830; the State of Wisconsin subsidy for state residents results in an in-state dental tuition of $31,080. The application fee for Dental School is $45; the application fee for Law School is $50. Paper applications for undergraduates carry a $30 application fee. There is no charge for undergraduate applications submitted online by domestic students. International students must apply through the Office of Campus International Programs. The fee for international applicants is $40.
